Christmas Party & Christmas Eve Pictures

                                  All dressed up for Barb's Christmas party.  Eating a cookie...mid-chew.  : )

Her pretty new jacket.  I think I love it more than she does.

Ten on Tuesday

1. What is your favorite online-only store?
Zappos.  Free Shipping and Next Day Delivery...you can't beat that.

2. Do you enjoy wrapping gifts?
I do as long as I don't wait until the last minute to do it all.  I like to do a little at a time.

3. What is the temperature in your city today?
A bitter 45 degrees

4. What time do you eat dinner?
Typically between 5:30-6:00pm

5. Will you be making New Years Resolutions?
No, I never follow through with them anyways.

6. How old is your oldest pair of shoes that you still wear?
I have a pair of slip on Uggs that I got about 5 years ago.  They were my very first pair of Uggs.

7. Do you have any restaurant phone numbers saved in your phone?
I have take out numbers saved in my phone.  Same thing.

8. What is your favorite and least favorite letter to write in cursive?
Hmm...My least favorite letter to write in cursive would be a capital G and my favorite would probably be a Capital Z.

9. Do you know any good riddles?
Nope.

10. How do you feel about snow?
Love/Hate Relationship with snow.  For as long as I can remember we never really got a lot of snow here in South Jersey.  The past two years that has changed and we have gotten plenty.  I like snow but I don't like to be holed up in the house for a week with no electricity.  Get my drift?

So much for a picture every day

....how about a picture for most days.  Ha.  We were busy over the weekend.  Julianna had her very first dance recital (if you can call it that) at her dance studio.  They danced to Frosty the Snowman and it seriously was the cutest thing I have ever seen.  I was shocked to see my little girl up there dancing away. No fear.  No shyness.  Nothing.  Just dancing her little heart out but that is enough of my babbling.  Here are some pictures.

On the 8th Day of December

The Elf on the Shelf made his very first appearance.  Jules decided to name him George.  I have to catch myself from calling him Buddy from the movie Elf.  The jury is still out on whether or not George is actually working his magic on Julianna.

December 7th

I decided to wrap most of the gifts I bought on Tuesday evening.  I also found some awesomeness on Pinterest that explained how I could use my wrapping paper scraps to make pretty bows.  They turned out so cute.  Even Chad complimented me on my craftiness!  Check them out!

December 6th

I went Christmas shopping on Tuesday.  I took 4 pictures while shopping.  There were all of things I wanted for Christmas because I'm selfish like that!  No really, because otherwise I would forget.  My friend Shannon took a few pictures of our cart at both Babies R Us and Toys R Us.  It was overflowing with toys.  We literally stuffed Shannon's Accord to the brim with Christmas gifts for the girls.  Anyway, back to pictures I actually took that evening.

Feel free to buy me any of the following.  xoxo

Ten on Tuesday

1. What are 3 things that are on your Christmas wishlist?
I would like new Ugg boots, VS PINK sweats and a gift card to get a manicure & pedicure.
2. What’s your favorite Christmas song?
All I Want for Christmas by Mariah Carey.  Love her Christmas CD.
3. Do you have a favorite band or singer that sings it especially awesome?
See above.  I've heard others sing it and it just doesn't sound right.
4. Have you heard about the website goodreads?
I have not.  I'll have to check it out.
5. What are 3 books you want to read?
I don't know.  I typically scan the best sellers list on my Nook when I'm all finished the books in my library.  I just recently finished Sandra Brown's new book Lethal and it was AWESOME!!!!  I love her.
6. Do you hunt deer?
No.  My dad and husband do though.  I really don't like the taste of deer meat.  Totally gross.
7. Have you started Christmas shopping? Are you completely finished?
Yes, and I am just about finished with Julianna.  I am going again today and hope to finish up a lot more.
8. Did you shop on Black Friday? What was the best deal you got?
I did go to Walmart with all the crazies on Thanksgiving night.  I got some cheap games & playdough for Jules.  I also shopped at Kohls on Cyber Monday and got some great deals on toys and an easel.
9. What’s one holiday tradition your family has?
Christmas Eve at my brother in laws every year.
10. How many blogs do you read? Do you subscribe/unsubscribe often or do you purge every once in a while?
Probably about 10 daily.  I don't think I have ever unsubscribed to a blog before.  I love reading blogs.

The 5th Day of Christmas

.... you get a cell phone dump.

Jules @ almost 3yrs & Me @ 5yrs

Chad bought me a fancy new computer for Christmas this year and let me have it early.  Which in my mind means I get more gifts to open on Christmas day.  ;)  In other news Jules really enjoys Chicken & Stars soup...so much that she sticks her entire face in the bowl.  Oreo cookies in the teeth is not a good look for her.  Don't worry I made her brush her teeth after I took this picture.

On the 4th Day of Christmas

I thought I'd share a little secret.  Our picture from this years Christmas Card.  The middle picture was the picture I used.  Surprise!  : )

On the 3rd day of Christmas

We went to the West Cape May Christmas Parade.  It has been years since Chad and I have gone to the parade.  It's a pretty big deal here in our little home town.  The parade was long.  3 hours we waited for Santa to finally make his appearance.  It was worth it though.  We had such a great time hanging out with family and friends that we hadn't seen in awhile.  My brother in law got there extra early with his motor home so we had a warm place to hide out and use the restroom when needed.  It was great!  Here are some pictures from the evening.
